Dark Night 4 (aftermath)

the wrath of nature is the wrath of god
destruction from a wind with demon howls
the poor and helpless left behind to slog
through the awful stench of satens bowels

the destruction so compleatly paralyzing
overwhelming all who had to stay
making life a hell of earthly reason
showing man the smallness of his ways

through it all the hearts of valient souls
run into this hopless awful hell
into the sickening grime and wailing woe
to save the life still left to make things well

bless the souls who help this changing world
as the sails of change sadly unfurl
