last night we went to see we did les miz
it wasn't hard to be there after all
the high school all excited and a fizz
the parents so supportive standing tall

the singers sang with all their hearts their parts
the crew was busy with their bumps and creakies
the sound department couldn't keep control
and at times the orchestra was squeaky

but still and all i couldn't help but be
nostalgic for those many years ago
when les miz ment so much fun to me
and i was part of that most moving show

lately i've been yearning for the stage
before my life begins another page
